One morning my brother and I woke up with the idea to make a short film about what makes life so inexplicably interesting. We pulled together all the footage we had, recorded some v/o, and 24 hours later had this to show for it.
After returning from a year in Asia, I traveled to Yellowstone with my family. Returning to the U.S. by way of it's most iconic national park struck a nerve. This poem was one I worked on throughout the trip. We paired it with the footage from the trip and have been sharing these thoughts on the grand places ever since.
Throughout my time at university, every long break has led to a National Park. These are the stories that came from those adventures.
Upon the release of his debut album, Marc Persing (The Northern) and I did a series of acoustic performances in some of the spaces in his community that inspired several of the songs he'd written.
