In November of 2018 we celebrated the launch of New Mexico United's brand with the inaugural Black & Yellow Bash, a sold-out event attended by the first 800 season ticket holders in downtown Albuquerque where a projection-mapped space showcased the new branding with dynamic motion graphics and video content while the first merchandise was available for purchase and players could meet players and coaches. Each year following the Black & Yellow Bash would evolve to host 1500 attendees at Electric Playhouse where the visual content grew in scale and interactivity, jerseys were revealed live at the event, speeches and major announcements were made, and not a single attendee went hungry.
