interesting + interested is an idea taking shape in Nashville. Created on the back of a spur-of-the-moment outdoor musical performance filmed in a friend's backyard, the premise is simple: one-shot videos of musicians performing outside the contexts of studios and concert halls. We got to talking about the era of takeaway shows on youtube and the imperfect camera work, audio, and performances. those mistakes made those videos special, the interaction of the musician and the environment, the attempt to capture both by those recording the audio and visual; in the age of perfect production, those imperfections are refreshingly honest. With no agenda, we've continued to film with musicians in our free time.
